Blue River Construction Management is a family owned and operated, boutique construction firm serving the Roaring Fork Valley since 1998. We build custom projects that are architecturally complex and require the highest level of detail, both in craftsmanship and construction management. These projects include custom residential homes and remodels and commercial projects including tenant finishes.

The Blue River Construction team thrives on getting each and every facet of construction right. With more than 45 years in business, we combine experience and in-depth planning with a keen ability to forecast and prepare for obstacles before they happen.

We are successful in executing a variety of architectural styles because we are committed to maintaining the design integrity of each individual project. We accomplish this by working closely with both the Client and Architect.

Joey Lawrenz

Joey is the Manager and Owner of Blue River Construction. With more than 20 years’ experience in the trades and a background in design and engineering Joey is an expert craftsman in the building arts with an exceptional eye for detail. His effectiveness is proven through his action-oriented team approach towards each project. Joey takes a deliberate approach to all aspects of the construction process from ideation through final product and values the importance of pre-construction coordination in line with each project’s big picture. Joey has also worked as an Owners Representative in the construction process and the maintenance of both residential and commercial endeavors.
